Back Home

I began my fall 2006 vacation on Saturday, September 16.  The itinerary was to see the Hottel-Keller Homestead and travel the Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.  I hopped off the Parkway in Roanoke and went on to Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, and Savannah, GA.  From there I  returned home via Maggie Valley and the Smokies.

My plans were loose.  I wanted to be flexible so I wouldn't short-change myself for things that interest me.
